Gestalt Therapy
A Gestalt therapy is a powerful path for transformation and personal growth. This psychotherapeutic approach is based on the unique understanding of each individual, seeking to identify the sensory aspects, actions, and meanings of experiences present in the person's field. The goal is to give meaning to how the person and the environment interact in the present moment.
Unlike other approaches, the Gestalt therapist does not provide interpretations or explanations about the "whys". Instead, they act as a "walking partner" throughout the therapeutic process, enabling the client to know, name, and choose aspects of their existence that require attention, care, and redefinition.
The client is always the author of the process, identifying both painful and pleasurable aspects of their experiences. They coexist with themselves and recognize how situations can entail pain, suffering, or progress. The therapist, in this context, is a journey companion, providing support and facilitating this path.
The process of psychotherapy in Gestalt Therapy aims to recover and develop an interdependent, creative, and liberated stance in the course of life. Through this therapeutic support, the client is encouraged to explore new perspectives and possibilities, allowing greater authenticity and personal growth.
